This is a minimal launcher designed to help people reduce their digital addiction and screen time, but how does the app do that?
It reduces the number of apps shown to users on the home screen to only 3, making it harder to get distracted by other apps and easier to focus on the important apps only. Also, the app doesn’t show app icons or notification badges on apps because even colors can trigger a dopamine release in the brain which causes distraction.
The app also shows how much time users spend on the phone and gives detailed statistics about apps usage. This feature comes for free, but if users want to get statistics about previous days of the week, they need to subscribe to one of our premium plans.
The app comes with an integrated Pomodoro timer that will help users track their work time and be more productive.
The launcher also allows users to set a daily screen time limit for apps.
Of course, we didn’t forget to put a to-do list on the home screen to remind users of their goals and tasks.
Here’s a meme that explains the app.
The app is extremely easy to reskin and push for production; all you need to do is change some pictures, setup subscriptions, and change privacy policy link.
It’s built with Kotlin and Jetpack compose, which not only makes the UI look modern and professional but also makes it very easy to reskin and add more features in the future.
